OceanBioPack is a project and technology platform led by Ocean Life Group. Our goal is to create an ocean compostable packaging solution by using advanced nanotechnology, cold water seaweeds and biopolymers.

We use nature based materials in a research laboratory and packaging industry environment, and prioritise the use of graphene nanotechnology to achieve advanced products and solutions with high food barrier standards.

Our OBP products don’t require recycling, do not end up in land fill and do not leach chemicals into the soil. OBP breaks the cycle of environmental damage so long associated with plastic packaging that cant be cost effectively recycled, or properly assessed for its environmental impact.

If Ocean Bio Pack reaches the ocean it decomposes in situ and provides a bio-food with a positive impact on rejuvenating marine ecosystems.
